The price of gas is defined and updated by ARENE – Energy Regulatory Authority. Points of sale have a legal obligation to sell gas to the end customer according to the table defined by ARENE – Energy Regulatory Authority.
What is the bottle security deposit?
The security deposit is the amount payable for a gas bottle when purchased for the first time. However, if you present the proof of payment of a security deposit, this amount is returned to you when you return the bottle.
What is the proper procedure for returning bottles?
The bottles must be returned to Galp gas resellers or points of sale. When returning the bottle, you must present the security deposit document so that its value can be returned to you.
Who should install a gas appliance (stove) in my home?
These devices can only be installed by an officially accredited service provider and Galp network resellers.

Can I store additional gas bottles at home?
The law requires the storage of bottles in suitable, ventilated and duly approved locations. We recommend returning additional gas bottles to a point of sale near you.
Where can I buy a reducer?
Reducers are sold at filling stations and in the Galp reseller network. Contact the reseller closest to your area of residence.
Can I purchase any reducer?
Buying reducers at the Galp store or authorized resellers guarantees your safety. The quality of the reducers is an important factor in the use of LPG. Low-quality reducers may entail higher gas costs and lack of safety for those who use them.
What do the numbers on the hose connecting the reducer to the stove mean?
The numbers indicate the batch, the reference and the validity of the hose.
